2010 Jamboree Committee Begins
Chaired by Tom Brashears, a seasoned veteran of National Jamboree's, the Orange County Council has kicked off its planning for the 2010 National Jamboree on November 15, 2007. The committee will be responsible for promotion, tour planning, troop leader coordination, logistics and scout and adult recruiting. Many members of the committee have been involved in other National Jamborees and World Jamborees.
Those wishing to participate on the Council Committee are welcome to attend the monthly meetings to be held every third Thursday at the Council Office. There is plenty of room for those wanting to roll up their sleeves and get involved.
